At APOYO, we believe that everyone should have access to healthy food. In recent years, the Washington State Department of Agriculture, supported by the federal government, has provided funding for APOYO to purchase tons of fresh food, including fresh produce. Due to drastic cuts to government funding for food assistance, APOYO now has very little capacity to purchase fresh, culturally-relevant food.

Volunteer in APOYO’s community gardens. Work with exceptional gardeners and gain valuable experience.
Join our on-call gleaning team! Help us harvest fruit and vegetables offered by landowners and home gardeners.
