APOYO’s Youth Empowerment program is committed to engaging, educating, and empowering Latinx youth at a pivotal time in the development of their leadership skills.
Established in 2024 through funding from the Inatai Foundation’s Emerging Opportunities fund, our program offers educational experiences that include internships, mentorships and job shadowing, as well as opportunities for political participation with a focus on racial justice.

Organizing Committee
The Organizing Committee meets twice a month and provides oversight and guidance on the Youth Empowerment curriculum.
Youth Empowerment Intern
APOYO encourages learning opportunities with students. The Spring 2025 Youth Empowerment internship focuses on racial and social justice while furthering an intern’s own professional skills in line with their career path.
