Project IMPACTO – APOYO’s youth empowerment program is committed to engaging, educating, and empowering Latinx youth at a pivotal time in their development of leadership skills.

Established in 2024 through funding from the Inatai Foundation’s Emerging Opportunities fund, our program offers educational experiences that include internships, mentorships, job shadowing, and opportunities for political participation with a focus on racial justice.

    Meet Youth Empowerment

    Organizing Committee

    Who is the Organizing Committee? The committee consists of seven members who meet weekly and provide oversight and guidance on the Youth Empowerment curriculum. Visit the committee members’ biography page to learn more about what motivates them to empower our youth!

    Become part of the committee! Are you a youth in the Kittitas County area? We are seeking five youth members to join our youth empowerment committee. Financial stipends are available for students. Must be between 15 and 25 years old. Check out our Committee Member Responsibilities and Agreements page.
