Project IMPACTO – APOYO’s youth empowerment program is committed to engaging, educating, and empowering Latinx youth at a pivotal moment in their leadership development.
Established in 2024 with funding from the Inatai Foundation’s Emerging Opportunities fund, our program offers educational experiences, including internships, mentorships, job shadowing, and civic engagement focused on racial and social justice.

Meet the Youth Empowerment Team
Organizing Committee
Who is the Organizing Committee? The committee consists of members who meet weekly and provide oversight and guidance for the youth empowerment curriculum.
Become part of the committee! Are you a youth in the Kittitas County area? We are seeking five youth members to join our youth empowerment committee. Financial stipends are available for students. Must be between 15 and 30 years old. Contact us for more information.
Youth Empowerment Internship
APOYO encourages learning opportunities with students. The Youth Empowerment internship focuses on racial and social justice while developing an intern’s soft and hard skills in alignment with their career path.
